Get Approved to offer Online RRP Training
It's Simple and Costs You Nothing!
You Get Two Courses for the Price of None!
Dear RRP Training Provider,
EPA has developed an expedited process for training providers with an existing EPA
RRP accreditation to make use of existing, approved online courses. This process
allows accredited trainers to amend their accreditations in order to offer an electronic
learning (E-learning) course component that has already been reviewed and approved
by the EPA.
The Seagull Environmental (eRRP at www.rrpnow.com) course component and the ComplyAbility
(www.leadsafeonline.com) course component have already been reviewed and approved
by EPA. Unlike many programs, these courses cannot be taken without learning. This
means that it is highly unlikely for you to be stuck with failing students. Some
programs are only "click through" where one only needs to view each page, not necessarily
learn. Some of these programs require much longer than the 2 to 3 hours for the
hands-on and exam because the students have not learned enough online to pass your
exam.
Now, Seagull and ComplyAbility have teamed up to offer you the ability to offer
either or both of these online courses as your own! And, even better, now, it won't
cost you a dime. The student will have paid a small fee ($49) when registering for
the online course. You can charge whatever you wish for the 2 hour hands-on and
examination! It's your course!
Here is all you do:
Beginning June 11, 2010, Click the "Training Provider" link at www.rrpnow.com or
the "Training Provider" link at www.leadsafeonline.com. Here, you will be able to
download a package including a sample cover letter, amended EPA application form,
and QC program for either or both courses. Just fill in the few blanks and email
it to the EPA. That's right, no more mailing to the black hole in Missouri. The
EPA promises this will be a very quick process, probably a few weeks instead of
months.
The best part is there is absolutely no obligation to us. Your obligation is to
EPA. If you don't like either or both programs, simply don't use them. There are
no contracts or exclusivity clauses.
Think about the possibilities of gaining new clients that found you through inquiring
about online training. In most cases, these prospective students would never have
known about your organization. Also, you will tap into national advertising as can
be seen at www.rrpnow.com.
We have all seen the training bubble show signs of slowing and leveling off. Will
you eventually refuse to train unless you get a minimum number of students? Will
you still devote a valuable trainer for 8 hours? Or will you service your clients
through Seagull and/or ComplyAbility for 5 of the 8 hours and train for 2.5 to 3
hours? Think about it!
Thank you so much for considering the use of our online courses. If you have any
questions contact Jim Stump at (800) 966-9933 anytime between 8:30 and 5:00 EST
or Tom Knight at (800) 708-6460 between 8:00 and 5:00 CST.
